I am currently re-developing the website as we have recently changed service providers. A few things are currently broken including the membership link. These will be fixed shortly.

Time Trial
Big Congratulations to all BRSers who completed our first time trial for 2013!!
A clean slate for the year with a brand new time to improve on!
When I have updated the website, I will add the new times so in 2 months time when we do it again...you will know your goal to beat!

Garmin/Active Stride Competition 
Active Stride, a BRS sponsor and Garmin are both sponsoring the upcoming International Woman's Day 5km Fun Run on 10th March. BRS has 6 free passes to give away worth $42 each!!!

• 3 will be available to BRSers who purchase a purchase a Garmin from Active Stride by Tuesday 22nd January
• 3 will be available to BRS Garmin wearers on Monday night...if you beat the clock!!

so no time like the present to upgrade or purchase a new Garmin.....
and come along to training Monday 21st to test your skills!!!

Saturday Session
Wow, there is no reprieve for our Saturday runs!!! it is predicted to be a high of 35 degrees on Saturday!

Again by popular demand, we will leave from Active Stride Southbank....to take advantage of a post run dip. Great thing about that location, we have a variety of runs we can do!

When: Saturday 19th January
Time: 6am-7:30am
Where: Meet at Active Stride, Southbank
What: 1.5 hr endurance run followed by a swim in the lagoon + coffee & breaky!
Cost: $2 for refreshments

Most of us just jump in the lagoon in our running gear! don't forget a towel!!!
Don't forget you can park under Southbank for only $2 if you are out by 9am!

Reminder, Caboolture Dusk til Dawn
Looks like we have a few teams for Caboolture Dusk til Dawn on 9th February. Remember there are lots of options....you can run 10.5km in a team marathon, 2hrs in a timed team or plenty of other options!!
