Darkness to Daylight Challenge: Thursday 8th May

On 7-8th May, Brisbane is getting behind a very important cause, running to raise money to end domestic violence. 
There is a 110km challenge that commences 6:30pm on Wednesday night 7th May. Our dedicated Roller Runners Damien and Jake are challenging themselves to complete the whole 110km together! WOW. 
They are raising money for the cause and you can donate to the Everyday Hero account here: https://give.everydayhero.com/au/RunNRoll

Why not run for the cause too!! They have a 10km timed event which is the last 10km of the whole 110km event.

When: Thursday 8th May 
Time: race start 5:30am
Where: starts at the Southbank Cultural Forecourt. 

There is plenty of time to run for a great cause then pop off to work!!

Easter Saturday Session

Well in preparation for all that yummy food and chocolate eggs to be consumed over Easter, lets get the long weekend off to a good start with a long run and scrumptious healthy breaky!!

When: Saturday 19th April
Time: 6am - 7:30am + a good stretch in the park!
Where: Meet at the grass area opposite the Story Bridge Hotel on the corner of Main Street and Rotherham Street.
What: a long run, however far you feel like going in 1.5hrs.
Cost: $2
Breaky: 8am at Main Street Bar & Eatery - part of the Story Bridge hotel. The menu looks good and reasonably priced - and yes they are open Easter Saturday from 8am!
