Results and What Coming UP!

Queensland Half Marathon
Sunday 6th June saw 15 Brs'ers competing in kids races, 5km, 10km and 21km events with some excellent results.

Some to mention are Matt Cooper running 1:26:06 for the half marathon and finishing 15th overall and 3rd in his catogory. Melissa Ferrara came in at 1:42:04 for the half marathon finishing 6th in her category. Scott Gallen competing in his first half marathon brought it home in 1:46:04, great effort Scott on your first 21Km.

Sam Carpenter has been focusing on the 5km events at training over the past few weeks and ran this race on Sunday. He did it in 24:14, finishing 2nd in his catogory. Awesome!

Well done to everyone else who competed, there were certainly alot of smiles at the end of that event.

Monday Public Holiday Training
This Monday 14th June will be a public holiday. Training will begin EARLIER on this day. Starting at 4:00pm. Duration 1.5hours - a longer endurance run. Don't worry we won't be running constantly for 1.5hours!

GO QUEENSLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Remember, your attendance at BRS is needed if you want to go into the draw for the Ultimate Runners pack!
