Well last weekend was the famous Noosa Triathon. For two of our BRSers what a better place to complete your first Olympic Distance Triathlon.
2 of our favourites, Claire and Matt S were all nerves at dinner on Friday night but come Sunday, they turned those nerves into adrenalin, speed, and energy!!
Congratulations to both who finished in style in hot, humid conditions. Claire beat her predicted time by 9 mins. Matt S smashed it, exceeded his own expectations, maybe he has found a new sporting career!!
Well done to the other BRSers who swam, cycled or ran!!
Saturday sessions are important for a well rounded running program, as it allows you to get your long runs in, 10km plus.
Also it is a good opportunity for a social coffee/breaky outing!!
We now have these sessions every Saturday, however with me having other sporting/coaching commitments, and Matt's shift work it makes it difficult for us to make it every week, so we are changing the structure a little.
New Saturday Session protocols
the BRS calendar, blog, and facebook will be updated every Wednesday evening with location and time. Sorry for the delay last week. We will still try to mix it up with locations.
- If Matt and I are available, we will come along to join you followed with refreshments as usual. To cover these, session cost = $2
- If we are unavailable, therefore, no refreshments, the session is free!
