Reminders: Strength session, Gold Coast, BRS on Tour & Saturday

REMINDER.......NEW BRS Session
Introducing our 4th weekly Brisbane Run Squad session: Strength and Conditioning for Runners!

6pm-7pm, meet at the Ship Inn, Southbank
Simply turn up!

Trainer: Troy O’Shea

A little about Troy: is a Level 1 Strength and Conditioning coach and Pilates Instructor, coaching a number of Brisbane/Qld sporting organisations including the AFLQ umpires from community to the AFL level. He has also done significant work with QAS Strength Coach Michael Davie

Strength and Conditioning for Runners Package:

Duration: 6 weeks

Time: Thursday nights 6-7pm

When: Thursday 19th April – Thursday 25th May

Cost: $60 in total – so only $10 a class!

Where: From the Ship Inn, Southbank

Interested? Turn up to the free session on Thursday 12th April, then book your spot at Training Monday 16th April, or via email

A minimum of 10 people is required to go ahead

Saturday Session

Lets hit the Mountain and some trails!! Great cross training and you get to run!!

Where: Meet at Slaughter Falls Carpark, Mt Cootha

When: 6:30am, Saturday 14th April

Cost: $2

What: 1-1.5 hours of trail running!

To Bring: if you have a camel back/water belt, high recommend you bring it. There are no drink taps on the trails.

Coffee - hit the Botanical Gardens cafe for a coffee afterwards!
