THANKS, Tough Mudders....and Saturday Session

A BIG Thanks to everybody who attended our Quarterly Birthday Dinner on Wednesday night!

Gosh how good is Turkish food on a cold night after a hard run! oh and the beers where quite refreshing too!

We would like to wish all our July - September Runners a BIG HAPPY Birthday!

Also to our two Matts, Mat Shepherd and Matt Waller (and of course their respective wifes Mel and Michelle) we send you best wishes for the coming days, weeks, and months ahead of new parenthood! Have a blast and enjoy your BRS Care Packs!

Tough Mudders

WOW after 12 weeks we have our FINAL Tough Mudder Prep Program Session :-(  it has been a blast!

Based on the outstanding improvements in times last week at our Goal Session, I am hoping you are all feeling much fitter, stronger and tougher than you were 12 weeks ago!

We have our last Run/Cross Fit session this Saturday starting at Boxing Express, kangaroo point, then a week of fine tuning and tapering, before our big event next Saturday 17th!

As Team leader, I will receive the Team Start time a week before. I expect to get it on Monday. We will email you all with a plan of attack for the day.

Don't forget to RSVP to for the Tough Mudder celebration the night of 17th August.  3 months of hard training and dedication deserves a celebration!

Saturday Session

Our Mudders have our last Run/Cross fit session this week, so that means we are again running from Boxing Express, 87 Main Road Kangaroo Point (plenty of Parking at Captain Burke Park)

When: Saturday 10th August
Time: 6-8am
What: a long run, as long as you want it to be.....followed by Coffee + Breaky
Cost: $2

if any runners wanted to try out a Tough Mudder Session, we have some casual spots open this weekend, $20 for the 2 hours, starting 6am.
